Recently we went down to the west country to film at 3 main locations in Cornwall and Devon for South West Holiday Parks.
The first was at Juliots Well, a lovely park in Camelford near Tintagel and Trebarwith in North Cornwall.
The park itself is completely surrounded by greenery and set in a valley. We were accommodated in one of the fantastic lodges and looked after very well during our time working there. Filming was a little tricky as the park is dotted with very large trees and is on a hillside.
All went well and we got some fantastic footage, the video turned out quite well too.
After this it was a jaunt down to Seaview International at Boswinger in South Cornwall. This is a large park set on a hillside overlooking the Atlantic. Again we were very well looked after and although we waited a day for perfect weather the filming went very well. As part of this job we had also gained permission to shoot at Mevagissey, a beautiful Cornish fishing harbour close to the park.
Suffice to say the footage of Mevagissey mixed with footage of the park and surroundings in Boswinger made for a very scenic video.
From here we headed towards Coast View at Shaldon in South Devon.
We didn't actually make it to Coast View until the following day (Due to a breakdown involving a driveshaft, an overnight stay in Plymouth and the help of a few great mechanics getting us back on the road by 10am.) Once we got there we got started filming. All went well.
All in all a great road trip, met some great people, got some wonderful footage and all was well.
Finally got home on the Monday evening having left early on the Thursday morning and after covering 3 parks and over 500 miles in between.
